The Maes have been touring the world for the past six years, playing some of the world’s most prestigious roots music festivals, including the Telluride Bluegrass Festival in the USA, Edmonton Folk Festival in Canada and the Woodford Folk Festival and WOMADelaide in Australia. AND now they are heading to Archies Creek Hotel for a very special evening of folk / roots music. The Maes (sisters Maggie and Elsie Rigby) grew up the children of folk musicians, immersed in folk festivals, choir rehearsals and campfire sessions. This formative experience helped to shape two of Australian folk music’s most respected songwriters, singers and instrumentalists.

Fuelled by a fiercely limitless vision for the magnitude of her craft, violinist and collaborator, Xani Kolac is amongst the most celebrated musicians of her generation. An AU Review Best Live Instrumentalist award nominee and ten-year stalwart of the Australian indie scene as a member of The Twoks, Xani has since joined forces with Tim Rogers, Kate Miller-Heidke, Jens Lekman, Kate Ceberano, My Friend The Chocolate Cake and Clare Bowditch, appearing live in the multi-award-winning Come From Away (2019-21) and onstage at Melbourne’s Hamer Hall, Edinburgh Fringe Festival and ABC’s RocKwiz. Mess Esque is a collaboration between Helen Franzmann (McKisko) and Mick Turner (Dirty Three). Recording began remotely during lockdown in 2020 between Turner in Melbourne and Franzmann in Brisbane and resulted in two albums to be released in 2021. This June, they will be heading to Archies Creek for an intimate evening of mesmerising music. A MUST SEE!

On the back of the Luke Sinclair Set ‘Heavy Dreams’ Album release we are delighted to host the Luke Sinclair Set at Archies Creek Hotel. Luke Sinclair has been making incredible music with his band ‘Raised By Eagles’ since their first Album release ‘Raised By Eagles’ in 2013. The band have then gone on to release two more critically acclaimed albums since. However, during lockdown Luke certainly has not sat idle. Luke has become one of the most important figures in Melbourne’s Americana scene. For this not to be missed show, Luke is playing with his full band - Zayne Lynd (bass, vocals), Matt Dixon (lead guitar) and drummer Liam O’Leary.

Conway met Willy Zygier in 1991 and together they have released 10 albums. This July, Deborah Conway & Willy Zygier present Songs From The Book Of Life, a career spanning selection of music and stories.
