The Bass Coast Shorts film festival is back, and this time it’s showcasing two new venues: the Berninneit Cultural Centre cinema complex and the much-loved Archie’s Creek Hotel. The festival is an opportunity for local filmmakers and creatives to have their work shown in high quality cinema environments. It’s about developing and supporting local talent and highlighting the beauty of the local area while bringing the best of contemporary short film animation and music videos from around Australia and the world to our local audiences. ‘We’re delighted to be partnering with Archie’s Creek Hotel, which is an intimate and very special venue for a festival like ours,’ says festival director John Frohlich.
